- did an activity to help us classify substances and mixtures
Week Wrap Up
We made macaroni and cheese with chicken wieners, and cucumber and strawberries on the side.
You all were successful:
- working in your teams
- making a solution-salt and water
- making a mechanical mixture-macaroni and chicken dogs
- using a colloid & dissolving a solute-milk (colloid/solvent) & powdered cheese packet (solute)
- measuring the correct amount of ingredients
- identifying changes of state-butter melting, water boiling
- and DIVISION - yes DIVISION - dividing up the meal for everyone to enjoy fair amounts and then DIVIDING it again when we had more guests than expected.
